Chapter 3, Purgatory is CLAMP's original segue story from the end of Devilman to Violence Jack.
Once the chaos took shape. The twin worlds were protected by the gods and goddesses. The things that drove the elements, the things that drove the energy and many things were divided. In this world called for twins constantly, and within it, there was time floating with the world of elements imbued with one another. The buoyancy and spirit guides, acted under the power of the gods most powerful to demonstrate the balance of power, the moon, the axis that supports it. Either way, these orders are completely unknown to welcome the world beyond. There is an old story about the two moons, the imbalance between the twins and the two warriors that will come with grace. The spirit of evil has come to break this, the name is the key to the imbalance of power.
Kenichi, a high-school student and member of a kendo club, walks back home when he sees that the moon has split in half! Just after which an earthquake leaves Tokyo in ruins. Kenchi is knocked unconscious, but hears a female voice saying he was the key to ending the demons in "Twin World". When he awakes, he finds himself in a parallel world of swords and witchcraft, where he meets the little fairy Bessy and a young swordsman called Ledan. After becoming friends they find they must work to save both worlds from demons and start a quest of two sacred objects that they need to save the world.

5. "Dream": L4 is the new name of the Moon. They say there's a girl who lives there, and a dream seems the proof of it.
6. "Darkness": There is a western style house buried deep within the forest... something terrible happened, and for those who thought they died inside, this is only the begining.
7. "Sky": A girl leaves her home to seek for adventures with her pet.
8. "Mirror": A woman lives alone in a mirror and wants someone to be with her.
Rune Ayanokouji lives a life less ordinary with a "mad" scientist for a grandfather and mysterious humanoid robots popping up around town. It turns out there's an alien plot to take over the world, but there seems to be a set of aliens with a different agenda in mind. With a little unexpected help, Rune and her friends are able to fight these aliens on equal ground. But with the fate of Earth at stake, who can Rune really trust?

Follow the story of Tatsurou Shinozaki, a priest and private investigator who works to solve strange mysteries involving mystical influence. One day a woman comes to his church looking for the mysterious red penguin. She uses a post-hypnotic suggestion on him so that when the phrase "red penguin" is mentioned, he begins to hallucinate. As the journey to uncover the red penguin begins, secrets are uncovered about Tatsurou's past, including a shadowy society that may be linked to his suddenly unreliable memory.
